Ripple Chair

Description: I was experimenting with shapes of chair legs, which resulted with this fluid design. A lot of time was spent in the workshop on the prototype to enure that the chair is both striking aesthetically and comfortable to sit on The Ripple chair in Sycamore is the result of many hours of hand shaping with a Spoke Shave and Cabinet Scraper.

Description: This table is made from Ripple Sycamore to accompany the ripple chair. The design of the pedestall was inspired by the legs of the ripple chair.This elegant table was made for exhibition in 2007 where it sold in its first show; a Celebration of Craftsmanship and Design. Sunburst Design Table

Description: Handmade from Oak and Brown Oak, this table top displays a stunning twelve leaf sun burst design. Each leaf is bookmatched to produce a perfect grain match around the table. This table is 1100mm in diameter, but of course I can make any size or shape table to suit your room. Designed in oak, I think it would work well in Elm or indeed in Maple because of their figurative grain patterns.
