Minimalist Bedroom Suite

Description:
This bedroom suite was made for customers in North Yorkshire. They initially commissioned some bedside cabinets but these developed into a whole room scheme. The accent here is on minimalism. The vertical line of the oak grain cut by the horizontal walnut sections is quite striking. The drawer fronts on the drawer storage are mitred, so the units look like blocks stacked on top of each other.
In the wardrobe, illuminated hanging rails provide ambient light when the doors are opened. The doors close onto hidden rare earth magnets.
This scheme could be recreated in different configurations, perhaps different combinations of wood.
